Coming from a diverse background: Filipina & White background as well as Deaf household; visual communication is a unique expression they have continued to master intuitively and professionally over time. They have a keen understanding of the importance of clear and accessible design, as well as keeping up with latest industry trends and technology. Darlene strives to create designs that are inclusive and considerate of all audiences but also has a deep appreciation for art and culture. A lot of their experience is rooted in grasping the impacts of good design has on community and culture; as well as in a corporate setting. They are compassionate, discerning, and perceptive in their work and real life.
They also draw a lot of inspiration from spirituality, nature, anime, nature, video games, and music. 
In their free time, they love to skateboard, paint/draw, and dance with their friends!
